Child Care Center Supervisor

Job Description-Full-time position, hours vary with center operating 7:00am – 5:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS –  Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, prior child care and/or teaching experience and one year supervisory experience.

 RESPONSIBILITIES -Overseeing the daily operations of a NYS Office of Children and Family Services licensed child care center, including children, staff, program activities and environment. Work hours may vary outside of normal work week.

Universal Pre-k Teacher
Immediate opening! Must be certified in Early Childhood Education or in process. Background clearance and medical required. Responsible for implementing Cortland City School District’s Common Core curriculum for children ages 3 to 5 years and for supervising a group of 15 to 16 children. Year-round teaching position in a licensed daycare center with benefits.

School-Age Care and Recreation Leaders and Assistants
Leaders and assistants needed in the YWCA before and after school programs.  Hours depend on the site (typically am before school 6:45 am to 8:00/8:30 am and then after school 2:45/3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).  Programs are located at local elementary schools around the County.  Background clearance and medical required.
