Marketing & Events Coordinator

Job Description: The Marketing & Events Coordinator is an integral position within our company and will work closely with the Director of Development. This position is responsible for assisting with all special fundraiser events and other event programming as well as helping with all aspects of marketing and communications. Must be able to work unsupervised and able to make independent decisions within YWCA guidelines.

Qualifications: Associates degree required; additional degrees or certifications are a plus. 2+ years of event planning in a not-for-profit setting preferred. 2+ years of marketing and/or communications experience preferred.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office setting.

Status: Part time @ 20 hours/week.

Child Care Center Supervisor

Job Description-Full-time position, hours vary with center operating 7:00am – 5:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, prior child care and/or teaching experience and one year supervisory experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Overseeing the daily operations of a NYS Office of Children and Family Services licensed child care center, including children, staff, program activities and environment. Work hours may vary outside of normal work week.

School-Age Before & After School Program Leaders and Assistants
Programs are located at local elementary schools around the County. Hours depend on the site (typically am before school 6:45 am to 8:00/8:30 am and then after school 2:45/3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).

RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervising children in before and after school program, maintaining a safe, recreational environment, implementing activities, and completing required paperwork in a NYS OCFS licensed program.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in recreation or related field or minimum CDA or 9 credits in recreation or education or High School diploma with 2 years experience working with children. Previous experience working with children and CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Child Care Center Substitutes and Part-Time Aids
Hours Monday – Friday between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. (substitutes on call-in basis)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Aiding in the care and supervision of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Aiding in the implementation of daily activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum High School diploma. Child care experience preferred.
