Front Desk Substitute

Job Description

Responsibilities: The Front Desk Substitute position provides an environment where members and customers are treated in a friendly and helpful way. Usually works unsupervised and must be able to make independent decisions within YWCA guidelines. This position staffs the front desk Thursday and Friday evenings, and Saturdays, and substitutes for other front desk staff as needed. Depending on need, additional hours or alternate schedules will be offered. If you are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about customer service, we encourage you to apply!

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to manage financial transactions accurately
  • Ability to learn and use online database program proficiently
