Here We Grow Child Care Center Universal Pre-K Teacher
Responsibilities: This year-round, full-time position will lesson plan and implement the program’s Common Core Curriculum, supervise a group of up to 16 children (ages 3 to 5), interact and provide nurturing care, maintain a safe environment while following OCFS regulations, assess each child and provide documentation under UPK guidelines, maintain parent communication, and meet required training mandates.
Qualifications: This person must possess a NYS Teaching certification in Early Childhood Education (or related) or be working towards their teaching degree and certification.

Here We Grow Child Care Center Substitutes and Part-Time Aides
Hours: Monday – Friday between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. (substitutes on a call-in basis)
Responsibilities: Aiding in the care and supervision of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Aiding in implementing daily activities and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Qualifications: Minimum High School diploma. Childcare experience preferred.

School-Age Administrative Assistant
The School-Age Administrative Assistant position works directly with the program supervisor to ensure the program’s daily operations. This position involves OCFS paperwork completion, covering in ratio am or pm hours before and after school, full day care, communicating with staff and families, and other assigned administrative tasks.
Qualifications: Associated degree in recreation, educational or related field, and experience with children.

School-Age Before & After School Program Leaders and Assistants
Programs are located at local elementary schools around the County. Hours depend on the site (typically before school, 6:45 am to 8:00/8:30 am, and then after school, 2:45/3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).
Responsibilities: Supervising children in the before and after school programs, maintaining a safe recreational environment, implementing activities, and completing required paperwork in an NYS OCFS licensed program.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in recreation or related field or minimum CDA or nine credits in recreation or education or High School diploma with two years experience working with children. Previous experience working with children and CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
