Child Care Center Substitutes and Part-Time Aides

Hours Monday – Friday between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. (substitutes on a call-in basis)

Responsibilities: Aiding in the care and supervision of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Aiding in the implementation of daily activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Qualifications: Minimum High School diploma. Child care experience preferred.

School-Age Before & After School Program Leaders and Assistants
Programs are located at local elementary schools around the County. Hours depend on the site (typically am before school 6:45 am to 8:00/8:30 am and then after school 2:45/3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).

Responsibilities: Supervising children in the before and after school programs, maintaining a safe, recreational environment, implementing activities, and completing required paperwork in an NYS OCFS licensed program.

Qualifications: Associates Degree in recreation or related field or minimum CDA or 9 credits in recreation or education or High School diploma with 2 years experience working with children. Previous experience working with children and CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
