Join us in celebrating the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 15, 2024, from 2:00 – 3:30 pm with a free preview of Kingian Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation training. Kingian Nonviolence, based on Dr. King’s work during the Civil Rights Movement, is an approach to conflict and community leadership that offers values and methods useful for anyone who wants to use conflict constructively in their personal life, in group settings, or in community issues and build a reconciled world.

Starting in February, we will offer the full four-week workshop at the YWCA. Learn more and sign up now for the 4-week workshop!

The MLK Day training overview will cover:

• The 4 pillars of Kingian Nonviolence
• Initial introduction to the 6 Principles and 6 Steps – the “Will” and the “Skill” – of Kingian Nonviolence.
• The Social Dynamics of Kingian Nonviolence

Please RSVP to robyn@cortlandywca.org so we can plan seating and light refreshments accordingly.
