YWCA Cortland\u2019s Board of Directors will hold its 2025 Annual Meeting of the Membership on Monday, May 12, at 6:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.<\/span><\/p>\n

We cordially invite current and past members, supporters, staff, and community members to attend and join us early for socializing and complimentary refreshments at 5:30 pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are excited to announce our distinguished speaker, Dr. Amy Kremenek<\/b>, President of Tompkins Cortland Community College. Dr. Kremenek currently serves as the fifth president of Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3), a prominent institution within the State University of New York (SUNY) system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Kremenek will deliver an insightful session titled “It Takes a Village,”<\/i> inspired by the African proverb, \u201cIt takes a village to raise a child.\u201d This timeless wisdom underscores the power of partnerships and collaboration in tackling our most pressing challenges. Indeed, it takes a “village” to nurture and strengthen a community.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a time when we face increasing complexities, she will explore how to foster environments that nurture transformative leadership for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

You are also eligible to vote to approve YWCA Cortland\u2019s amended Bylaws, which are slated to be adopted at our Board of Directors meeting on April 14, 2025. Click to view the amended Bylaws.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

There will be no live vote of the membership at the Annual Meeting on Monday, May 12, as we moved to voting by electronic ballot in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n
