{"id":7251,"date":"2022-10-07T14:01:27","date_gmt":"2022-10-07T18:01:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cortlandywca.org\/?p=7251"},"modified":"2022-10-07T14:01:27","modified_gmt":"2022-10-07T18:01:27","slug":"ywca-pool-repair-update-10-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cortlandywca.org\/index.php\/ywca-pool-repair-update-10-7\/","title":{"rendered":"YWCA Pool Repair Update 10\/7"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs x126k92a\">\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An update regarding the YWCA pool repairs:<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Monday, unfortunately, the 100-year-old cast iron main drain pipe broke due to rusting over time. 55,000 gallons of pool water drained into the basement but luckily there was no permanent damage thanks to Nick Loomis, Property Supervisor.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Work to fix the pipe will hopefully be scheduled for next week. If repairs go as planned, we will be able to start filling the pool at the end of next week, although, it will take a while to get back to temperature.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While shut down for this unexpected repair we are taking the opportunity to deep clean and perform some preventative maintenance, that we can\u2019t do when the pool is in operation.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Stay tuned for more updates.
