Proceeds benefit the YWCA Cortland’s Here We Grow Child Care Center<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"For the past 30+ years, dozens of members and supporters have baked trayfuls of delicious homemade cookies that volunteers then packaged into festively wrapped plates for the Child Care program to sell as a fundraiser.<\/p>\n

Due to COVID-19, this year we, unfortunately, again will be unable to hold the Cookie Extravaganza for the health and safety of our community.<\/p>\n

But YOU can still make a difference by purchasing one or more holiday Linden tree \u201ccookie\u201d ornaments!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u201ccookie\u201d ornaments are made from the branches of the\u00a0Linden tree that stood in front of YWCA Cortland for around 100 years<\/a>. The Linden tree symbolizes love, friendship, peace, and justice.<\/p>\n

Each ornament is $15 and will be available for purchase at the YWCA front desk starting Wednesday, December 15. You can also purchase ornaments online.<\/a> Ornaments are available while supplies last.<\/p>\n

This holiday fundraiser benefits YWCA Cortland\u2019s Here We Grow Child Care Center. Proceeds will support purchasing supplies and creating activities that enrich the minds of the youngsters enrolled in our daycare services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
