Mission
YWCA Cortland is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. We aim to meet the evolving needs of individuals and families in Cortland County by providing essential services and programs that promote health and well-being, support children and parents, keep vulnerable populations safe, and help to build a more equitable and compassionate community.

Meet Our Board
Board of Directors
YWCA Cortland is governed by a Board of Directors that is comprised entirely of volunteers who oversee finances and ensure strict adherence to the mission of our organization. Our Board of Trustees, who oversee our endowment and the maintenance of our building, also guide us in making strategic, long-term planning decisions.

How to Join
YWCA Cortland's Board is a sisterhood of up to 30 intrepid women who work to advance our mission. Board meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 6pm. Board Nominations take place year-round, and the Nominating Committee recruits and reviews applications on an ongoing basis.
