YWCA Cortland strives to meet the evolving needs of individuals and families in our community. We consider ourselves an “umbrella” organization because we offer such a diverse range of programs and services.
Aid to Victims of Violence
Providing survivors with support and tools to regain control and live their lives free of abuse. Free and confidential, 24/7.
AVV is a New York State OCFS-licensed domestic violence service provider and a DOH-certified rape crisis program. Our services include crisis intervention, advocacy, emotional support, housing, and prevention education.
Childcare
Seamless childcare for ages 6 weeks to 12 years old that supports and empowers families and children.
Our childcare programs include daycare, before and after school, and summer camp! We provide an educational, social, emotional, cultural, and recreational atmosphere that is developmentally appropriate, safe, and stimulating.
Mentoring
Helping kids build confidence, resilience, healthy habits, and positive relationships.
We offer several free services that work preventively to improve children and adolescents’ self-esteem and lessen the risk of experiencing serious problems later in life.
Wellness
Programs ranging from health and fitness to arts and culture, supporting mental, physical, and spiritual well-being for the whole family.
Our expert instructors offer classes for all ages, promoting health, fitness, and wellness while preventing the onset of disease and managing disease progression. Explore our monthly Land and Water packages or check out our specialty offerings!

Rentals
Celebrate your little one's birthday in our pool, gym, or play structure, spend time with friends and family in beautiful, intimate spaces like the Osborn Room and Wellness Room, or put on something big in the Multipurpose Room. We're here to help you make it happen!

Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s birthday in our warm-water pool, wide-open gym, or PlayZone! If you can’t decide, get all 3 with the Full House package. All parties include an hour in one of our private rooms for cake and presents.
Activities
Pricing & Packages
Parties are available on Saturdays and need to be reserved at least two weeks before your event. A signed contract and a non-refundable booking fee of $51.50 are required to confirm your party, and the remaining balance is due before the day of the booking. The booking fee is included in the package rates below.
You are welcome to use our commercial kitchen for a fee of $51.50. A fee of $25.75 is charged for parties with more than 25 children and parties that go past 4pm.
If you want to expand your experience, you can add another hour of any activity! $51.50/hr for members and $66.95/hr for guests.

Private Rooms
Our vintage Osborn Room provides the perfect setting for intimate events, such as bridal and baby showers or receptions. For larger events, our Multipurpose Room creates a spacious atmosphere.
Reservations must be made at least two weeks prior to the event. A signed contract and a non-refundable booking fee are required to book your event. The booking fee is $25 cash or $25.75 credit and will also go towards your hourly payment for the room. The remaining balance is due before the event begins on your selected date.
