Go Purple Day (Domestic Violence Awareness Day) is when people wear purple to spark conversations and raise awareness about domestic violence.

Week Without Violence

October 18-24

Online fundraising campaign to be held in place of Chefs Take a Stand.

In place of the Chefs Take a Stand event, we’ll hold an online crowdfunding campaign during YWCA USA’s Week Without Violence, October 18 – 24, to raise funds to support the Aid to Victims of Violence program. Last year the Chefs Take a Stand event raised nearly $10K, and we’d love to top that this year.

Here’s how you can help. Share this email with your friends and ask them to join you in making a gift to the AVV program! Or participate in any of the activities listed here.
