Every day, YWCA Cortland serves as a lifeline for women, children, and families in Cortland County and its surrounding areas.

Today, our essential services remain in jeopardy due to the current and future unpredictability of the federal funding landscape, and we need to raise nearly $23,000 by the end of the year.

  • Clients needing comprehensive support services offered free of charge by the Aid to Victims of Violence Program, which empowers survivors to live lives free of abuse.
  • Children participating in the free Mentoring Program services that build self-confidence and resiliency skills that enable them to make smart life choices.
  • Parents who send their kids to our Child Care Program so they can go to work secure in the knowledge they are being cared for in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing atmosphere.
  • Seniors on fixed incomes who exercise in our warm water pool to stay active, mobile, healthy, and socially engaged.
