Hybrid Chair Yoga with Jill Pace Starts 2/27

Chair Yoga returns this Winter! The same great class you know and love with a virtual twist.
Instructor and snowbird Jill Pace, RYT 500, will be teaching her chair yoga class virtually to members at the YWCA.
What will this look like for students? The same as usual! Come to the YWCA as the scheduled class time and get flowing with Jill. She will be visible to all students on a 55 inch TV to demonstrate and lead the class. There will be also be an in-person representative to help if needed.
This accessible class is designed for every body, offering a supportive and inclusive way to enjoy the many benefits of yoga—no need to get down on the mat! The class begins with a calming seated warm-up, followed by 20 to 30 minutes of gentle standing postures using a chair for balance and support. You’ll finish with a relaxing seated cool down to ground both body and mind.
Whether you’re new to yoga or looking for a safe and comfortable way to stay active, Chair Yoga is a great way to enhance balance, increase your range of motion, and reduce stress—all while moving at your own pace.
When: Fridays from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, February 27 – April 3
Where: Multi-purpose Room (Students can only participate in-person at the YWCA!)
Cost: $45 for members, $75 for not-yet-members, $20 drop-in rate (as space allows)
