Pilates is Joining Our Weekly Wellness Schedule This January!

Exciting news—Pilates is coming to the YWCA and will officially join our weekly Group Wellness Schedule beginning in January! With two Mat Pilates classes and one Barre Pilates class, there are multiple opportunities each week to build strength, improve posture, and move with purpose.

Weekly Class Times:

  • Mat Pilates with Cassie: Tuesdays, 5:15–6:15 pm

  • Barre Pilates with Courtney: Thursdays, 5:15–6:15 pm

  • Mat Pilates with Courtney: Fridays, 5:15–6:15 pm

Mat Pilates: A low-impact class designed to build core strength, enhance flexibility, and improve posture. Using mats and balls, participants move through controlled exercises with mindful breathing to increase balance, stability, and muscle tone. Open to all levels, though it may feel challenging for those with balance or mobility concerns.

Barre Pilates: A low-impact, high-intensity fusion of Pilates precision and ballet-inspired movement. Using the barre and a mat, this class guides participants through dynamic sequences that build strength, tone muscles, and support better alignment. Expect improved posture, increased muscle endurance, and a powerful confidence boost.
