UPDATE: More tags will be added as others are taken from the tree.
Every year, the YWCA Cortland Mentoring program helps families provide holiday gifts to over 150 children in our community. This year, there are over 200 children on the tree, and that number is still increasing!
We need YOUR help to make the holidays merry and bright for local families experiencing trying times.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Pick a name from the YWCA Giving Tree
Want to shop for a specific child?
Stop by the YWCA Cortland lobby to pick a child’s name off the Giving Tree!
Please bring unwrapped gifts along with wrapping paper rolls to the YWCA anytime before Thursday, December 12!
2. Amazon Wish List
Unable to shop and drop off gifts in person?
You can purchase gifts from our Holiday Assistance Amazon Wish List. To send the gifts straight to the YWCA, choose “Melinda Anne Gardner” for the shipping address, and we’ll handle the rest! Please ensure gifts will be delivered before December 12.
3. Make a Monetary Donation
Want to donate and let us handle the rest? Donate online today!
To donate by check, please make it payable to “YWCA Cortland” and mail it to 14 Clayton Ave., Cortland, NY 13045. To support this fundraising campaign, be sure to write ‘Mentoring-Gift Assistance” in the memo line.
To donate with a credit card over the phone, please call the YWCA front desk at (607) 753-9651 and mention the gift is for the Mentoring-Gift Assistance event.
