YWCA Scholarship Fund
At YWCA Cortland, we’re on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. By giving low-income families equal opportunity to participate in programs like YWCA’s Health and Fitness or Child Care, we can build a more equitable community. Access to such crucial services can be life-changing, especially during the current childcare crisis we are facing as a country.
To ensure that the YWCA’s programming is accessible to as many families as possible, we award partial scholarships. These scholarships are granted based on various factors, including family size, income, need, and the specific program. By tailoring the support to each family’s circumstances, we strive to make a meaningful and equitable impact.
We are asking you, our generous community, to help us replenish the YWCA Scholarship Fund. By supporting this fund, you can make a direct and lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.
How can you support the fund?
