Join us in celebrating the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 20, 2025, from 2:00 – 3:30 pm with a free preview of Kingian Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation training led by Dr. Tracy Hudson.

Kingian Nonviolence, based on Dr. King’s work during the Civil Rights Movement, is an approach to conflict and community leadership that offers values and methods useful for anyone who wants to use conflict constructively in their personal life, in group settings, or in community issues and build a reconciled world.

We will offer the full twelve-hour training at the YWCA with a four-week workshop on Wednesdays in February and a weekend workshop on March 1 and 2. This training is a component of our 2025 Until Justice Just Is Campaign.

Learn more and sign up now for one of the workshops!

The MLK Day training preview will cover:

• The 4 pillars of Kingian Nonviolence
• Initial introduction to the 6 Principles and 6 Steps – the “Will” and the “Skill” – of Kingian Nonviolence.
• The Social Dynamics of Kingian Nonviolence

Please RSVP to robyn@cortlandywca.org so we can plan accordingly.
