April 21 COVID-19 Update: Closure Extended / Make an Emergency Gift
April 21 COVID-19 Update
Per New York State’s PAUSE executive order, YWCA Cortland’s facility and program closure will be extended through May 15.
As an essential service, the Aid to Victims of Violence program continues to provide critical services. The Crisis Hotline (607-756-6363 or 1-800-336-9622) is open 24/7.
The Child Care School-Age Program also continues to operate but serves ONLY children of personnel deemed essential under the Cortland County State of Emergency.
Thank you for your patience.
As we continue to do our best to provide services to the much needed essential workers and those that may be at risk, any financial support you may able to give truly helps those that need us most right now.
Make an Emergency Gift Today!
If you’ve already donated, thank you!
If you haven’t, will you please donate $100 today? No amount is too small. No amount is too great.
With our income-generating programs closed and expenses accruing, we need your help to continue operating essential services.
YWCA Leadership has applied for loans through the CARES Act. One of these loan programs has already run out of funding. We are waiting to hear about the other.
Your charitable gift can qualify you for tax breaks due to the CARES Act, even if you don’t itemize. If you do itemize, the CARES Act removes the limit on deducting donations to nonprofits.
Your gift today matters more than ever to provide emergency support to vulnerable women and children in our community.
