Fearless Swim Lessons for Adults
*Original publication date: December 12, 2025*
If you’ve always wanted to feel safe and confident in the water, Fearless Swim Lessons are here to help! Designed specifically for adults experiencing extreme fear or anxiety around water, this supportive class guides you step-by-step toward comfort, control, and confidence.
Instructor Meryl Fish will lead participants in learning and practicing the 5 essential water safety skills:
- Water entry
- Floating
- Breath control
- Basic movement
- Navigating to safety
Each skill is introduced first on land, then in shallow water, helping fear gradually dissolve as comfort grows.
With patient guidance and a calm, encouraging environment, members can finally move past the stress that’s kept them from enjoying the water.
