The holiday season is a time of joy and celebration for everyone, especially for our children. However, it can also be a time of added stress, particularly when it comes to providing gifts. That’s where the YWCA Cortland community comes in.

The Holiday Gift Assistance program we provide is primarily for children ages 5-12 who are already enrolled in the YWCA Cortland Mentoring program. These children receive priority and are the first names to be put on a “Giving Tree” in the YWCA lobby. The deadline to sign up for this assistance is December 1, 2024. Anyone who signs up after that date is not guaranteed to receive assistance.

Bridges for Kids is a free youth program where the importance of education is stressed, as is healthy exercise, creative outlets, and new experiences such as attending museums and sporting events. The program provides monthly family activities for all enrolled families and assistance with school supplies, holiday dinners, and gifts.

Gift Pick-up: December 13, 2024, from 10 am – 12 pm.
