An update regarding the YWCA pool repairs:

On Sunday, October 2, the 100-year-old cast iron main drain pipe broke due to rusting over time. 55,000 gallons of pool water drained into the basement but luckily there was no permanent damage thanks to Nick Loomis, Property Supervisor. We had to drain the pool to complete extensive and unexpected, repairs. Due to the rusted original pipes, we hired a contractor to install a liner that would cover them and resolve any issues of leaks and loss of pool water. Upon evaluation, a problem with the liner was found. On Saturday, October 22, a camera was used to determine where the damage was done and what should be done moving forward. We are in contact with the contractor and will soon be working on installing a second liner. We appreciate your patience during this predicament and look forward to opening our pool soon!
