*VOTINGEST CITY   SOME FRIENDLY COMPETITION

This effort is a unique opportunity to increase voter participation in the Presidential election, have some fun, and participate in a light-hearted, joyful competition among other counties and cities to see which have the highest percentage of eligible voters turn out to vote, and which have made the biggest improvement in voter turn out since the 2016 Presidential election.

The Votingest City, county and campus idea emanated from a challenge issued to the city of Cortland in January by the city of Ithaca via Jeff Furman, Ben and Jerry’s longtime lawyer who lives in Ithaca. Both the county and city issued proclamations to take up that challenge. SUNY Cortland got on board with that challenge to beat their 2016 student voting rate as well.

RSVP to let us know that you and your motor vehicle (Spiffy sports car, van, truck, vintage car or big finned Cadillac or plain old car) will be there.  Andrea Rankin 607 753-8510
