Community Swings into Action, Driving Funds for YWCA Programs and Services
Aid to Victims of Violence / Child Care / Mentoring / Health & Fitness
On Friday, August 4, 121 golfers on 31 teams teed off to support the crucial programs of YWCA Cortland, which include Aid to Victims of Violence, Child Care, Mentoring, and Health & Fitness.
Many local businesses also showed a commitment to our mission by providing sponsorship funding and in-kind donations, so all proceeds raised during the event will benefit the local community.
We want to express appreciation to our golfers, sponsors, and donors, as well as Willowbrook Golf Club for a fantastic venue, Bob’s Barbecue for the delicious pulled pork, Royal Auto Group for the Hole-in-One Contest insurance, and Sellco Industries for updating our event banner and producing tee signs for our new event sponsors. Special thanks to our amazing committee members and volunteers!
